From the field

What certified coaches say

Several tools assess intercultural and leadership competencies, but they're often rooted in Western leadership theories — few approach culture and leadership from a truly global perspective. Being able to administer the GLA360 within any country and cultural context is critically important to my work as a Global Leadership Consultant.
I've found the GLA360 exceptionally valuable for building trust and demonstrating competence at the start of the coaching process. The assessment helps the client clarify what matters to them, and what matters to their key stakeholders.
The GLA assessment tools are particularly powerful, offering deep insights and actionable strategies that help leaders grow with clarity and confidence. What sets this program apart is how it seamlessly integrates global best practices, making it especially relevant for international companies and diverse leadership contexts.
The GLA is the most effective 360 assessment I have used. Its structure makes it very easy for the leader to digest all the feedback in a constructive manner and accurately determine their leadership development areas — making my debriefing and action-planning sessions very effective and positive.

FAQ

GLA360 Certification FAQ

Who is GLA360 certification for?

Coaches, and HR or L&D professionals, who develop leaders across diverse, cross-cultural environments that are adapting to AI. The GLA360’s 15 competencies come from international leadership research conducted with Accenture into what organizations need from their leaders.

Do I need prior credentials or experience to enroll?

No prior 360-assessment or coaching experience is required, though most participants are already practicing coaches or HR and L&D practitioners. The certification is a complete package: you learn to manage the GLA360, debrief it well and apply it in coaching.

How long does it take?

41 hours in two stages: 20 hours of self-paced eLearning, where you acquire the know-how in your preferred learning style, followed by 21 hours of live workshops and practice labs, where you practice debriefing and coaching and receive direct feedback before working with your own clients.

What is the Authentic Leadership Model (ALM), and how does certification use it?

Certification does not stop at debriefing a report and coaching a leader on their development. You are equipped to guide each leader in using their GLA360 results to articulate their own Authentic Leadership Model: a personal definition of the leadership style that plays to their strengths, fits their context and genuinely engages others.

What languages can I administer it in?

The assessment platform supports 13 languages, including Chinese in Simplified and Traditional scripts: English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Dutch, German, Polish, Russian, Lithuanian, Arabic, Chinese (Simplified and Traditional scripts), Korean and Japanese. Leaders and their respondents can complete the assessment in their own language, which matters once you coach international or multicultural teams.

Is it included in the PCC program?

Yes. GLA360 certification is built directly into GCG’s PCC (ICF Level 2) program, so if you are on that track it is included at no extra cost. It is also available as a standalone certification for coaches who are not pursuing PCC and want the GLA360 credential on its own.

What ICF CCEUs do I earn, and how can I use them?

Completing GLA360 certification earns 41 ICF Continuing Coach Education Units (CCEUs) alongside the GLA360 Coach designation. CCEUs are the units ICF credential holders use toward credential renewal. GLA360 certification is not itself an ICF credential; if you plan to apply the CCEUs toward an ACC, PCC or MCC application or renewal, check the current ICF requirements or contact us and we will help you confirm how they apply.

What is included with certification?

Beyond the GLA360 Coach designation and 41 CCEUs, certification includes the multilingual assessment platform, five GLA360 assessments (a USD 495 value), the Coach Guide and Leader Guide, client, debrief, team and workshop resources, and a business and marketing toolkit. You also join a global network of 4,000+ coaches, with access to the GCG Knowledge Base and email support from the Coaching Success Team.

Do I need to pay for GLA360 assessments?

Certification includes five GLA360 assessments (a USD 495 value) to get you started. Certified coaches then purchase additional assessments through the GLA360 platform at USD 99 each, with quantity discounts available.

What does certification cost, and are there additional costs?

Standalone GLA360 certification is USD 990 as a one-time payment, or USD 99 per month for 12 months (USD 1,188 in total). Both plans include the training, the multilingual platform, five assessments, the Coach and Leader Guides, client resources and support, and both are covered by GCG’s 90-day “Love It or Leave It” guarantee. The only additional cost is optional: assessments beyond the five included are USD 99 each for certified coaches through the platform.

How is the GLA360 different from other 360s?

The GLA360 draws on international research conducted with Accenture into what organizations need from leaders across diverse, changing environments. Its research program involved 200+ organizations across six continents, and its normative reference group holds 19,000 leaders across 100 countries. It measures 15 observable competencies through the perceptions of a leader’s coworkers, so the feedback points to behavior a leader can act on. See the GLA360 assessment page for the full comparison.

Ready to add the GLA360 to your toolkit?

Standalone, or as part of GCG's PCC (ICF Level 2) program.
